It was really great to see all of our instructors from Session 1 this morning. There were lots of hugs, lots of catching up, etc. Mainly, I’ve noticed that they are a lot more relaxed around us. We are now treated more like peers rather than students…
So far, there are only three of us in the class. One student could not get out of his village due to being fogged in but he is trying to make it in on the last flight in tonight. The other two are still MIA.
Right now, I’m the only female in the class, whereas last time, Billy was the only male.
We begin clinicals on Wednesday rather than a full week later. It feels like we’re moving right along…and with all the new found respect from our peers, we also have MORE work to do. They are pushing us harder and expecting more from us..which is to be expected.
I couldn’t get a new phone because the stupid AT&T office here is only open from 8 to 5. I suppose they thought no one worked during those hours. Hmph.
Anywho. Though it was a good day, I feel drained. I’m going to go take a walk and clear my head then hit the books. The fog lifted and the sun is out and I want to take advantage of it. PLUS, I need to start working on my tan before I go to NC….read: I have a lot of damn work to do.
